tulips and iris's (irises?)

so after my horrible day on thursday -- i spent the morning at home waiting on the plumber to re-pipe under my kitchen sink and install a new garbage disposal. (i forgot to mention that as part of the bad day on thursday).

anyway, when I got to work, John had flowers waiting on me!! He had gotten me tulips and iris's (irises?) ha ha...however you spell that. They are beautiful. i have been meaning to put up a picture of it, but my camera is dead -- charging as we speak.

i'm back to being crazy organizing lady. I got in my bathroom and took out everything from drawers and have started re-doing it. I'm going to work my way through the house. I'm gonna try to take my time and not stress out.

Why do i like to want things all at one time when i don't need things? I really want new shoes, new shirts, new jeans, decorations, new work out clothes, new socks, new underwear, etc. HA HA, you name it, I've thought I need it this week. I have realized that I am one of those people that if I go look, I have to have. If i don't see it, i won't want it. So I try to keep myself from looking/wanting.

This is very hard because we are going to California in March and I think I need new things right now. I am going to try to hold off a little longer then get some more clothes then...

Random note: what do you do with a cute little kitten that's in your backyard, but runs off...do you feed it? do you ignore it? Do you try to take it to the vet to make sure it's ok then keep it inside with your other 2 cats? Does that make you a crazy cat couple?

it's a cute little kitty....but i think it's too risky -- thoughts?
